About C.R. Jones
Surviving reality is inspired by true events. The story shows the strength and courage of a registered nurse who unexpectedly becomes estranged from her family and battles a life-threatening illness.
The author has been in nursing for 19 years, having 10 years experience in acute care and 9 years in long-term care. She is currently the Director of Nursing for an 82-bed skilled nursing facility in rural New York. The author earned her dual master’s in nursing and health administration in March 2011. The author is a certified nurse executive and certified resident assessment coordinator.
Currently, the author is persuing a family nurse practitioner certification through George Washington University.
